Baia Garden

​

The Golden Rainbow is located in a beachfront village, named Baia Garden, in the eastern Sicily. Baia Garden is made up of a hundred summer residences which come to life in the warmer months. It is part of the coastline in the center of the gulf between Catania and Augusta.

    Our village is the ideal place to spend a pleasant and relaxing holiday in close contact with the sea and it is also an excellent starting point for excursions throughout eastern Sicily.

   
The beach

 

   The sea is very clean and in the morning it looks flat and crystal clear, the beach is wide and not equipped and it consists of fine clean sand extended for many kilometers.   The sea slopes gently.

    Our environment is especially comfortable and safe for families with children.

   During the period of August the beach is particularly lively with leisure activities and entertainment.

 

Contact with nature

 

Baia Garden is about 500 meters (10mins walk) from the mouth of the river St. Leonardo.
In the summer the river does not lead to the sea and its fresh water is separated from the sea by a strip of beach.
It is possible to make excursions by canoe up the river: a wonderful experience in contact with nature guaranteed.

 

 

The apartments

 

  The apartments,  completely  independent and no-smoking, have one or two bedrooms and terraces.  They are in excellent condition, equipped with every comfort, and they are classified, according to our judgment, by one, two or three stars.

 

     Our apartments   belongs to a gated community with a private street where cars can be parked.

 

    All the apartments are seafront. They are really comfortable especially for family with young children.

Who we are

 

  The Golden Rainbow is a consortium of Owners, spontaneously born, who have been  decided to advertise their vacation home through this website.

 

    We are not an Agency and this web site is the place that allows Users to interact; it is completely self-managed and does not involve neither costs of managing nor costs of use.

 

    For this reason the Travelers have direct contact with the Owners and there are no travelers fees, no hidden costs and no booking fees.

  • By Car (strongly suggested!)

    • You can reach us by the highway CT-SR, you have to exit in "Lentini-Carlentini". About 100mt and you will find a fork, take on the left; now you have about 4Km and you will find another fork, take still on the left. You will be on SS114, drive for 300mt and you will find "Baia Garden" on your right (Km117.800).

    • You can also reach us directly from the airport, first you have to reach the roundaboutwith with the red airplane (just outside the aiport), take on the right and follow the street (Via S.Giuseppe La Rena) until a cross-light, go on and that is the SS114.

  • By Bus

    • The closest bus stop (Motel Torero) is 5Km far from us. The AMT bus 538 goes from Catania downtown (Piazza Borsellino) to there and vice-versa; it passes close to the Catania Airport.
